In many scenarios, antiviruses become incompatible with other applications. The same applies to the situation whenever Outlook stuck on loading profile. While these Microsoft accounts work in other Microsoft products (e.g. OneDrive, Windows, Xbox), they are non-functional when visiting Outlook.com. Outlook.com (the web version of Outlook) and Outlook apps require a 1st party alias (Outlook/Hotmail/Live/MSN) to send and receive email, use calendar, etc. Occasionally, classic Outlook tries to run a process in the background. Auto-archive, sending and receiving a very large attachment, or running some of the other mailbox webpage tools can all be done in the background.

The Inbox Repair Tool is an in-built utility from Microsoft webpage to overcome the Outlook PST file corruption issues. Users can fix Outlook PST files using this utility, but firstly you need to locate the Inbox Repair Tool (ScanPST.exe) in their system. We are going to share a table below with the default location of this utility for different Outlook versions, like Outlook 2010, 2013, or 2019.

You can create a new profile and then add your email accounts to the new profile. If repairing your Microsoft 365 programs didn't resolve your issue, move on to the next step. For example, the first time you try to Dismiss All on a list of reminders, Outlook asks you if you're sure you want to do that. When something goes wrong with Outlook, Microsoft webpage recommends that we start it in Safe mode. Simply that Outlook will be loaded without your add-ins and customization files. Originally, the freezing would only occur when I actually tried to do something. So, if I tried to open a message, search my inbox, write a new email, go to the calendar, etc., it would freeze up for about 5-10 seconds at a time. The freezing never seemed to occur when I had Outlook open but was not using it.

If you can open the original Outlook Data File, you might be able to recover additional items. The Inbox Repair tool creates a backup file with the same name as the original, but with a .bak extension, webpage and saves it in the same folder. There may be items in the backup file that you might be able to recover that the Inbox Repair tool couldn't. Similar to our earlier suggestion of repairing Office (see #3 Repair Your Microsoft Office above), perform the same steps except choose to Uninstall. Once the PST file is repaired, you can import the repaired PST file into a new or existing Outlook profile to restore and access all mail items. In the Folder Pane, you might see a folder named Recovered Personal Folders that contains your default Outlook folders or a Lost and Found folder. Although the repair process might recreate some of the folders, they may be empty. The Lost and Found folder contains any folders and items recovered by the webpage repair tool that Outlook can't place in their original structure.
